Students from Prendergast Ladywell Fields College, Dalmain Primary School and Stillness Junior School were joined by Councillors Addison and Morrison on their walk to promote the Safer Havens Project.
This is the second walk that had been carried out by students who had previously asked local shopkeepers for their support. On this walk shopkeepers were asked to sign up to become a Safe Haven and display a sign in their window.
Many of the shops in Crofton Park Ward signed up and gave the students a really warm reception. The shopkeepers were very impressed with the work that the students had put into the Safer Havens Project.
